Your part in recovery
Every patient leaves with simple exercises to keep their joints and spine mobile at home. Done regularly, ideally at least three times a week, they help the improvements last.
Biokinetics with Gheum Swart
Biokinetics uses movement and carefully prescribed exercise to support rehabilitation, physical function and long-term wellbeing. Rather than a general programme, Gheum assesses how you move and what is contributing to pain, weakness or reduced performance.
- Rehabilitation after injury or orthopaedic surgery.
- Neural and movement assessment: coordination, muscle activation, balance, reflexes and joint control.
- Strength, stability, balance and coordination.
- Compex muscle stimulation where it helps muscles activate.
- Walking and running mechanics.
- Building confidence to return to normal activities.
Gheum sees some patients at our Reigate clinic, and Iain may refer you to him when rehabilitation would help.
